Conclusion

Let's not get me wrong, I am a fan of the hip hop culture and everything that it has done for African Americans. However, I am not a fan of the negativity it bring to the black community. I feel like artist should uplift women instead of making them feel as if their trash. Ladies should understand their worth and understand that it is a struggle not only being a woman, but an African American. Everyone has an opinion but that doesn't mean that it has to be your reality. I also know many songs in hip hop that attempts to address these problems in the Black culture and uplifts women. Nevertheless, their are still many negatives in hip hop and these negative things do actually cause many women to have low self-esteem.
